The story behind GS Business Support
Gina started GS Business Support because she kept seeing capable tradies lose money. Not from bad work, but from bad admin. She’d spent 15 years inside one of the world’s largest infrastructure firms, running finance operations at scale. She knew exactly what good books looked like, and she knew most tradies had never had access to that standard of support. Now they do.
Gina spent 15 years at AECOM, one of the world’s largest infrastructure and engineering consultancies, building extensive experience in finance operations, accounts payable and business support. During her career, she progressed from Accounts Payable Specialist to Corporate Finance Officer, supporting both local and international finance functions.
She managed local and international payments, vendor reconciliations, supplier database maintenance and financial reporting. She also served as the escalation point for complex Accounts Payable matters across the Brisbane office and offshore teams in India and the Philippines.
Gina also led AECOM’s Finance Transformation Project, delivering offshore training programs in India and the Philippines. She played a key role in transitioning AECOM’s Australian banking platform from HSBC to Bank of America, coordinating training across offshore teams, banking representatives and IT personnel to ensure a seamless transition.
She holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Central Queensland University and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Today, Gina brings that same corporate-grade discipline to tradies and small businesses across Australia, helping business owners stay organised, improve cash flow visibility and spend less time on paperwork so they can focus on growing their business.
